About this file

This document contains clarification questions and answers regarding a solicitation to award multiple IDIQ contracts for tobacco retailer inspections. The Food and Drug Administration intends to award contracts to conduct inspections of retail establishments that sell cigarettes and smokeless tobacco products across five regions. Contractors must be able to employ commissionable inspectors who are health, food, or drug officers of the state where inspections occur. Clarification was provided that supporting documentation examples include resumes and evidence of inspector employment capability. A sample non-jurisdiction specific task order was also included for Region 4. The requirement will be set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 541990 for all other professional, scientific, and technical services. The solicitation is expected to be available on or around June 17, 2019 on the Federal Business Opportunities website.
