About this file

This is an amendment to solicitation number 75D30125R00070 related to biospecimen sample storage for the CDC's NHANES program. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention seeks services for receiving and storing approximately 500,000 samples (stored in 2ml Nunc Cryo vials in 81x81 storage boxes), with ongoing receipt of additional NHANES surplus samples from CDC and contracted laboratories. The contractor will also be responsible for shipping samples to investigators, freezer maintenance, inventory management, reporting, sample disposal and consolidation, and decontamination.

The procurement will be conducted as a 100% Small Business set-aside using FAR Part 12 commercial item procedures combined with FAR 13 simplified acquisition and FAR 15 trade-off source selection procedures. The government plans to award a single Firm Fixed Price IDIQ contract with a one-year base period and four one-year options. Services will be performed at the contractor's facility. The solicitation is expected to be posted on SAM.gov around December 09, 2024. Contractors must have an active SAM registration to be eligible for award.
