About this file
This document outlines health and safety requirements for contractors working on an expansion and electrical upgrade project at the Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center in Columbus, Ohio. Contractors must comply with federal mask mandates, undergo daily COVID screening including temperature checks, and receive annual influenza vaccinations. They must also obtain and wear contractor badges while on campus. Non-compliance could result in work stoppages.
The related federal opportunity is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside solicitation to expand an emergency distribution panel board and add cooling to a substation room at the Chalmers P. Wylie VAACC. The project budget is between $500,000 and $1,000,000, work must be performed under NAICS code 238210, and the SDVOSB prime is required to complete 25% of construction work. The pre-bid site visit will be scheduled after solicitation on March 22, 2021, with bids due approximately 30 days later. Interested parties should register at SAM.gov for solicitation documents and amendments.
