About this file

This is Addendum No. 1 to the bidding and contract documents for the Waterloo/MUCC Archery project, issued by the State of Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) and Department of Natural Resources (DNR) on October 27, 2025. The project is located at 2500 Pierce Road, Chelsea, Michigan 48118, in Washtenaw County. The scope of work includes site clearing, earth moving, concrete paving, turf preparation, rough carpentry, exterior finish carpentry, asphalt shingles, and the relocation of an existing shed as directed on Drawing Sheet C200. Construction is scheduled to begin in Spring 2026 and must be completed by the first week of June 2026, representing a 90-day contract period. A pre-bid meeting was held on October 22, 2025, at 10:00 am in Chelsea, Michigan. The project does not include mechanical, electrical, or plumbing (MEP) requirements; however, contractors should plan to provide their own power, water, temporary facilities, and generator, as these may not be available at project start.

The addendum clarifies that asbestos abatement attestation forms are required as a submission with all bids pursuant to the Public Entity Asbestos Removal Verification Act, PA 59 of 2024. While no test reports for asbestos or lead are provided, the addendum confirms there should be no issues with these materials since no existing building structures are present except for the shed relocation. A soils report referenced in the structural drawings is being made available upon request and will be included in the addendum attachments. The addendum includes an attendance list and asbestos abatement attestation form as attachments. Bidders must select one of four attestation options regarding asbestos abatement work, indicating whether they will self-perform the work, nominate a subcontractor, and disclose any environmental violation history requiring owner investigation and public hearing procedures.
