About this file

This is a Work Scope document for the Gaylord Repair Shop Lighting Replacement project (File #751-19363AGY) issued by a state agency through LARA. The project requires comprehensive replacement of interior and exterior lighting fixtures with LED equivalents and installation of ceiling fans. The scope includes removing and replacing approximately eight exterior wall packs (two with dusk-to-dawn sensors and six with motion-activated dusk-to-dawn controls), approximately 18 2x4 interior fixtures in office/stock/parts areas, approximately 25 strip lights throughout the facility, and approximately 17 high bay lights in the shop area. Additionally, the contractor must furnish and install two 56-inch industrial black ceiling fans with variable speed controls in locations to be determined in coordination with the owner's representative. The contractor is responsible for verifying accurate fixture counts, ensuring all fixtures meet commercial-grade standards for their installation areas, and submitting manufacturers' information for all proposed lighting fixtures and lamps prior to installation.

The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the project and is responsible for proper disposal of all removed fixtures and bulbs in compliance with applicable regulations. All removed fixtures become the contractor's property. The work site is accessible Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding state holidays, with coordinated access to work areas as only portions of the shop will be available at any given time. Permits, if required, must be obtained through LARA. No pricing information, contract duration, performance schedules, or award details are specified in this work scope document.
