About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for RFP #74330224R00330001 for ABMC's Exhibit and Wayfinding Signage Fabrication IDIQ, containing responses to 12 submitted questions as of December 11, 2024.

Key clarifications include: the IDIQ is primarily focused on exhibit fabrication with design being provided separately by the government, though task orders may include 5-10% accommodation for redesign work; contractors must meet both US and host nation codes (using the most stringent requirements); graphic production files are the responsibility of the designer but task orders will include limited design revision capabilities (approximately 15%); and contractors must provide warranties for fabricated works. The document also clarifies administrative requirements such as the need for UEI numbers from SAM.gov, explains that deconfliction plans address how contractors will manage resources across multiple contracts, and confirms that bidders can propose alternate language for insurance and indemnity clauses within their proposals.

Sheet1 RFP # 74330224R00330001: Fabrication IDIQ

Questions received by December 11, 2024
RFP DocumentQuestionABMC Response:
1#74330224R0033Please confirm that this IDIQ is for signage and exhibit fabrication only. The exhibit design roles are for if any particular project may need some additional design servicesThe RFP is primarily focused on the functions related to exhibit fabrication with the exhibit design being produced by a separate contract and furnished by the government at the start of a fabrication task order. However, some fabrication scopes may include a 5-10% accommodation for redesign so capability in graphic design adjustments, for example, is a plus.

The bidders do not have to provide capabilities in all disciplines but should cover those central to exhibit fabrication and exhibit fabrication project management at a minimum.
