About this file
This document includes an attachment describing climate risk screening for USAID's Enterprise Development and Growth Enhanced activity in Zambia, as well as the related federal contract solicitation. The solicitation is for technical services to increase the profitability of agricultural small and medium enterprises by addressing constraints in access to finance, business management skills, technology, and markets. USAID seeks to award a cost-plus-fixed-fee completion contract for up to $16 million over five years to facilitate access to finance and markets for small and medium enterprises in four Zambian provinces focused on agriculture. The screening attachment describes climate risks such as drought, flooding and higher temperatures that could impact agricultural producers and small businesses, as well as recommended mitigation actions to address in implementation.
