About this file

This is Amendment 0001 to a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the U.S. Coast Guard, LOG-95 Regional Contracting Northeast, for waste disposal and container services at Cape Cod and Harwich facilities. The amendment is effective November 2, 2026, with a quote submission deadline of November 24, 2026, at 12:00 PM Eastern.

The amendment corrects multiple issues in the original RFQ: clarifies that 18 containers (not 21) require pricing per Attachment 1; removes encryption from Attachment 10, Schedule B, to allow vendors to complete pricing for the base period and options; uploads the Performance Work Statement (PWS) to SAM.gov; and corrects Attachment 2 regarding pickup frequency and container quantities for Harwich housing units. The services include regular waste and recycling collection at seven Harwich housing units on Driftwood Circle (weekly Friday pickups, one trash and one recycling container per unit) and on-call removal and replacement of 30-yard containers at Base Cape Cod, with an expected response time of no longer than 48 hours. Historical data indicates an average of 36 pulls per year for the on-call containers. This is a follow-on requirement to existing contract 70Z08422CCCOD0001, currently held by Cavossa Disposal. The amendment also provides answers to ten vendor questions addressing PWS availability, container quantities, file accessibility, submission procedures, wage determination rates, site visit details, and service parameters. Quotes must be submitted per Section 3.1 of the RFQ; offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the quote deadline or risk rejection.
