AMENDMENT NUMBER A00001

Q1: The SOW mentions an "on site portion of contract personnel services required" to perform duties including anchoring, blocking, bracing, etc. at crate delivery. What can we expect in terms of how often you would need us on site (vs. at our own warehouse) to perform the duties and approximately how many crates do you expect will be delivered every two weeks?

A1: Delivery of crates is not required every 2 weeks. The quantities specified in the Schedule are estimated quantities. Individual delivery orders will be issued when the need for crates or the onsite service portion is required.

Q2: Will competitive bids for companies outside of MD would be considered?

A2: Proposals from companies outside of Maryland will be considered.

Q3: Could you elaborate on CLIN's 13 and 14? What is the quantity and unit of measure referencing?

A3: Reference section 2.3 and 2.5 in the SOW for a description of what is required for CLIN 13 and

14. The quantities for CLIN 13 and 14 are an estimate of how many times this service (Unit of issue:

Job) might be required annually at either our SFLC or SALC ICPs.

Q4: Is there an incumbent contractor for this project?

A4: No

Q5: Is this tax exempt, or should I add tax to my quote?

A5: The Government is tax exempt. Offerors are responsible for proposing prices that include operating expenses incurred during the ordinary course of business.
