About this file

This is an Acknowledgement Certification form that serves as a compliance checklist for vendors bidding on the Electric 5k-6k DBP Burden Carrier Tractor solicitation (70Z03826QE0000050) issued by the U.S. Coast Guard. Vendors must confirm that their proposed tractor meets all specified technical requirements and provide detailed information for each line item in a designated column. The form requires vendors to certify compliance with approximately 70 technical specifications covering dimensions, weight, towing capacity, drivetrain, braking systems, steering, suspension, electrical systems, battery requirements, hitch specifications, cab assembly features, safety systems, lighting, instruments and controls, corrosion protection, markings, transportation tie-down devices, and warranty provisions.

Key technical requirements include: a lead time of 90-120 days for the first article; maximum dimensions of 120 inches length without hitches and 150 inches with hitches; tractor gross weight between 7,000-10,000 pounds; Draw Bar Pull Force of 5,000-6,000 pounds; minimum 15 mph forward speed; 80-volt electric battery system with minimum 10kW capacity and 8-hour duty cycle; on-board charging at 208-240V and 440-480V three-phase; enclosed cab with 360-degree visibility; heating system capable of maintaining 40°F at -25°F ambient temperature; service braking per ASME B30.5 standards; front and rear work lights; backup camera; fire extinguisher; tropical rustproofing package; semi-gloss white exterior and flat black chassis; and minimum 12-month warranty. The certification must be signed by an authorized individual confirming accuracy of all responses, and vendors must provide complete operation, maintenance, and parts manuals in both printed hardcopy and electronic PDF formats with permission for Coast Guard intranet upload.
