About this file

This document is an Amendment 2 Questions and Answers attachment for a U.S. Coast Guard solicitation (70Z03825QK0000030) for Test Cell Pump, Waste Removal, Cleaning, and Inspection services. The document provides detailed responses to eight specific questions about a test cell sump, including its physical characteristics, condition, and logistical details. Key details include the sump's concrete construction (built in 1988), below-ground location, dimensions of 5x10x6 and 12x10x6, an estimated liquid volume of 300 gallons, and confirmation that confined space entry is required. Additional logistical information indicates a vac truck can access within 5 feet of the pumping area, and the USCG will provide a water connection for power washing. The contractor is advised that test results for the cell contents are available in the updated Statement of Work.
