Amendment 001 to Solicitation 70Z033Q2027601
This is Amendment 001 to a federal solicitation issued by the Base Seattle Contracting Office (1519 Alaskan Way S, Seattle, WA 98134) and administered by Base North Bend Contracting Office (2000 Connecticut Ave, North Bend, OR 97420). The amendment revises the Scope of Work to incorporate additional operational and performance requirements for concrete patch work at an Air Station facility. The solicitation closing date has been extended to September 16, 2026 at 0800 PST. All associated costs necessary to comply with the new requirements must be included in the Firm-Fixed Price offer. Failure to acknowledge this amendment and incorporate the requirements into the proposal may result in technical rejection.
Key Requirements Added to Scope of Work:
The amendment mandates that all work involving equipment, personnel, demolition, patch work, or similar activities be performed on weekends (Saturday or Sunday) to minimize impacts to operational helicopter flights. Contractor personnel must provide their own hearing protection due to ongoing aircraft operations. All equipment, tools, materials, and debris must be secured at all times to prevent displacement by helicopter rotor wash. The concrete curing area must be clearly marked using washable paint or similar methods (flags and tape are prohibited). Upon completion, all debris and excess materials must be removed and properly disposed of. Offerors are required to revise their proposals to demonstrate compliance with these requirements.
