About this file
This is a Certification Regarding Lobbying form issued by the Nevada State Purchasing Division, Department of Administration, for use in connection with state and local contract opportunities in Nevada, specifically for the Sand Harbor Sleigh Rides procurement on behalf of the Nevada Division of State Parks. The form serves as a mandatory certification that must be completed and submitted by vendors as a prerequisite for contract award. The document requires the authorized representative of the bidding vendor to certify compliance with federal lobbying restrictions and disclosure requirements prior to contract execution.
The certification obligates the vendor to confirm that no federal appropriated funds have been or will be paid to influence federal officials or members of Congress in connection with the contract award. Additionally, vendors must disclose any non-federal funds used for lobbying purposes by submitting Standard Form-LLL if applicable. Vendors are required to flow down identical certification and disclosure requirements to all subcontractors, sub-grantees, and sub-recipients at all tiers. Failure to submit the required certification subjects the non-compliant party to civil penalties ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 for each violation. The form requires completion of fields including the solicitation number, vendor name, authorized signer name, and signature, with designated spaces for date entry.
