About this file
This is a Question and Answer document for ICE RFQ 70CMSD26Q00000018 addressing industry inquiries regarding an insurance contract opportunity.
The solicitation concerns insurance coverage requirements for Canadian operations, with the previous contract period running from July 26, 2025, through July 25, 2026, and a prior award value of $768,122.50. Applicants must be licensed insurance agents. The government requires both liability and physical damage coverage meeting all individual Canadian provincial and territorial minimum and mandatory insurance requirements, including third-party liability, medical payments, and additional expenses such as death benefits and funeral expenses across all Canadian provinces and territories. The previous contract experienced no losses or claims within the three-year lookback period. The response confirms that coverage requirements align with each province's individually determined mandatory insurance parameters rather than any additional federal minimums imposed by the contracting agency.
