About this file

This document contains Request for Information (RFI) responses regarding a federal custodial services and trash/waste removal contract. The incumbent contractor is Brown Point Facility Management, which held previous contract 70B03C21F00000294 valued at $341,249.84. The contract covers custodial services at a facility currently staffed by one employee working second shift to accommodate lower traffic periods. The government does not require specific types of cleaners or equipment; contractors must follow an attached Janitorial Frequency Schedule and perform tasks routinely as needed, with additional cleaning when seasons change or visible soiling occurs.

The facility comprises approximately 7,800 square feet total, including roughly 400 square feet of carpeted spaces, 2,500 square feet of sealed concrete in garage areas, offices, corridors, processing areas, and detention areas with painted concrete floors. Cleaning requirements include two male locker rooms (2 shower inserts, 2 toilet stalls, 1 urinal, 2 sinks), one female locker room (1 shower, 1 toilet stall, 1 sink), a third locker room on the second floor with rubber floors and no plumbing fixtures, and two single-occupancy bathrooms with one toilet and sink each. Window cleaning includes garage doors. Waste management consists of one large dumpster picked up weekly and recycling collected twice monthly from two cans covering 40 percent of the garage. There is no kennel area at the facility.
