About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a NAF Bunker Renovation project at Woodlawn Golf Course on Ramstein Air Base, Germany. The solicitation (No. 700CONSNAFBUNKER2025) requires a contractor to renovate 35 golf course bunkers using rubber liner and synthetic edges, with specific technical requirements including working hours (Monday-Saturday, 0600-1800), vehicle restrictions (no vehicles over 10 tons on turf), and specific material specifications. Key technical details include using EcoBunker or DuraBunker liner, a drainage pit measuring 2m2, and reutilization materials varying in depth from 0 to 50cm.

The project involves the Department of the Air Force United States Air Forces in Europe - Air Forces Africa, with the government providing certain materials like drain rock, base layer for liner, backfill, and topsoil. Contractors must provide their own mixing machine for cement, and no alternate proposals will be allowed. Site access will be coordinated post-award, with the government handling digging permits and waste management. Environmental permits may include AF 813 (Golf) and digging permits. The precise measurements of 2300 sqm for crumb rubberized liner and 330 sqm for constructed bunker faces will be included in a subsequent Statement of Work amendment.
