PART 1: COMPACTOR RECEIVER BOX SPECIFICATIONS

1.1 40 CUBIC YARD (CY) HEAVY-DUTY OCTAGON COMPACTOR RECEIVER CONTAINER

Chamber Profile: Heavy-duty Octagon shape design uƟlizing an angled floor-to-wall and wall-to-roof contoured profile. This geometry must be engineered to create a rolling compacƟon cycle that eliminates dead corners, maximizes high-density payload distribuƟon, and allows packed material to slide out cleanly during dumping.

MaƟng ConfiguraƟon: Engineered with a universally compaƟble opening (measuring approximately 46” High x 65” Wide) to securely mate with a standard 2-3 CY staƟonary compactor bezel frame.

Floor ConstrucƟon: Minimum 1/4-inch heavy-duty structural steel plate floor, precision welded to withstand severe high-pressure fricƟon.

Side Walls & Roof: Heavy 7-gauge structural steel plate contoured panels forming the octagon break lines.

Main Rails (Understructure): Structural tubing measuring 2” x 6” x 1/4” thick main sills fiƩed with a solid steel bullnose and heavy-duty front nose rollers.

Cross-Members: 3-inch structural steel channel sills spaced on maximum 12-inch centers for absolute floor support under maximum packer thrust.

Longevity Enhancement (Breaker Bezel Reinforcement): The front-entry mouth of the octagon receiver box must be reinforced with a conƟnuous 4” x 4” x 3/8” structural steel angle perimeter frame to prevent metal deformaƟon or tearing from repeated maƟng/unmaƟng with the compactor bezel.
