7-Concept Design.jpg

This is a concept design image file related to the City of Arlington, Texas's Request for Qualifications for construction document development services for a 150th Anniversary Public Art Sculpture Installation project. The image depicts a conceptual visualization of the proposed public art sculpture, which has been completed and approved by the City. The selected design firm will be responsible for translating this approved concept design into fully engineered, permit-ready construction documents suitable for public bidding and construction. The project requires coordination across multiple disciplines including structural, civil, electrical, lighting, and specialty fabrication elements necessary to support and safely install the sculpture within a public space. The City has established a firm deadline for complete installation and dedication of the art sculpture and plaza by no later than December 2026. The City of Arlington strongly encourages electronic submission of responses to this solicitation and will exclusively use Euna Procurement for all notifications and dissemination of solicitations and addendums.

The solicitation requires qualified design firms to submit Statements of Qualifications demonstrating their capability to deliver comprehensive construction documents. Paper proposals, if submitted, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes or packages labeled with the company name, solicitation number, and title. Late proposals will not be accepted. The City of Arlington assumes no responsibility for solicitations received through channels other than Euna Procurement, and bidders are cautioned that receiving communications through alternative means may result in incomplete specifications or missed addendums that could render proposals non-compliant.
