About this file

This is a Proprietary Information document issued by the City of Arlington, Texas, Office of Procurement for a Statement of Qualifications solicitation requesting professional design services for construction documents related to the City's 150th Anniversary Public Art Sculpture Installation. The selected design firm will be responsible for translating an approved concept design into fully engineered, permit-ready construction documents suitable for public bidding and construction. The project requires coordination of structural, civil, electrical, lighting, and specialty fabrication elements necessary to support and safely install the sculpture within a public space. The art sculpture and plaza must be completely installed and dedicated no later than December 2026. The City of Arlington encourages electronic submission of responses and will use Euna Procurement exclusively for notification and dissemination of all solicitations, with late proposals not accepted.

Vendors submitting responses must identify any pages containing proprietary information by clearly marking and highlighting the word "PROPRIETARY" in yellow on the bottom center of each page at the time of submittal. However, pricing information may not be marked as proprietary and will be made publicly available following review of all submittals. All material submitted to the City becomes public property and is subject to the Texas Public Information Act upon receipt. The City will endeavor to protect identified proprietary information from disclosure to the extent allowed by law, with final disclosure determinations made by the Texas Attorney General. Failure to identify proprietary information will result in unmarked sections being deemed non-proprietary and available upon public request.
