About this file

This is an Anti-Boycott Statement certification form required by Williamson County, Texas for vendors seeking to contract with the county. The form requires contractors to certify compliance with three Texas statutes: Texas Government Code 2271.001 prohibiting boycotts of Israel, Texas Government Code 2274.002 prohibiting boycotts of energy companies, and a provision prohibiting discrimination against firearm entities and firearm trade associations. Contractors must affirm all three anti-boycott certifications or document an exemption based on being a sole proprietor, having fewer than 10 full-time employees, or having a contract value below $100,000. The form applies to this Regional Water Plan solicitation (26RFSQ13) in which Williamson County is seeking qualifications from engineering firms to assist in developing a regional water plan.

Contractors must execute the certification by providing their company name, authorized signatory, and printed name and title. Failure to certify compliance with all three anti-boycott provisions or to properly document an applicable exemption may disqualify a bidder from consideration. The certification requirement reflects Texas state policy prohibiting state and local entities from contracting with companies that engage in boycotts of Israel or energy companies or discriminate against firearms-related businesses and associations.
