About this file
This document is a signed guidelines agreement from the Cherokee County School District (CCSD) Procurement Services Department establishing behavioral and operational requirements for non-employees with limited access to students during contract performance. The guidelines govern vendor conduct while on school premises and outline restrictions on student interaction, building access, and general workplace behavior. Non-employees are permitted on school premises only during regular school hours or at times prearranged with school administration and must conduct business in designated areas necessary for their specific responsibilities. Vendors are explicitly prohibited from initiating conversations or activities with students unless authorized by administration, and they may not solicit student participation or assistance in performing their duties. Non-school employees require an employee escort to access areas where children are permitted during the school day.
The guidelines establish mandatory standards for professional conduct, including prohibitions on smoking and the use of offensive or inappropriate language while on school premises. Non-employees must report any student actions or behavior to administration rather than responding directly and are expected to maintain proper conduct in both actions and speech at all times. These guidelines apply to the CCSD's current solicitation for weight room and training equipment for district high schools, which requires proposers to provide delivery, installation, and assembly of equipment at each school location. The document serves as a binding agreement that proposers must sign and return as part of their bid submission, certifying their understanding and acceptance of all operational restrictions and behavioral expectations established by the school district.
