About this file
This document is a Guidelines for Proposer form issued by the Cherokee County School District (CCSD) Procurement Services Department for non-employees with limited access to students in response to the K-12 Assessment Platform RFP. The guidelines establish behavioral and operational expectations for vendors and non-employee contractors working within CCSD facilities, including restrictions on student contact, building access limitations, and conduct standards. Non-employees are permitted on school premises only during regular school hours or at times prearranged with school administration and must remain in designated areas necessary to perform their assigned responsibilities. Vendors marketing products are prohibited from initiating conversations or activities with students without explicit authorization from school administration or designees, and non-school employees cannot access areas where children are present during the school day without an employee escort.
The document requires all vendors to conduct themselves appropriately in both actions and speech while on school premises and prohibits smoking and the use of offensive or inappropriate language. Non-employees are expected to conduct business without soliciting students to participate in or assist with their responsibilities and should report any student actions or behaviors to school administration rather than responding directly to such incidents. The form requires signature verification from company representatives along with printed names and titles, with the document last updated on August 23, indicating these are standing guidelines that apply to all proposers submitting proposals for the Assessment Platform contract opportunity.
