About this file
This is a Platform Requirements document for the Cherokee County School District (CCSD) in Georgia, outlining functional capabilities and specifications for a comprehensive K-12 Assessment Platform solicitation. The platform must include Georgia standards-aligned item banks across all grade levels (K-12) and subject areas, with the ability to import and export district-created items from QTI files and integrate third-party content from vendors such as Savvas and Cengage. The system must support assessment creation at multiple levels—district common assessments, school-level customized assessments, and teacher-designed classroom assessments—with technology-enhanced item types including drag-and-drop, multi-part selected response, graphing, and keypad-input capabilities. Implementation and full district launch are required by July 1, 2026, with early access provided to district personnel in spring 2026 to enable adequate preparation, configuration, and setup. The platform must include comprehensive professional learning resources, on-site and virtual training for staff and teachers, dedicated technical support with guaranteed response times, and periodic data review partnerships.
The platform must demonstrate robust student accessibility features supporting English Learners, students with disabilities, gifted students, and those receiving Early Intervention Program or Remedial Education Program services, with embedded accommodations and text-to-speech capabilities. Real-time reporting dashboards must provide teacher, school, and district-level performance analytics with item-level and longitudinal analysis capabilities, along with customizable reports filtered by student demographics and skill categories. Integration requirements include Single Sign-On through Clever, Canvas LMS integration with grade pass-back functionality, and API or secure data exchange capabilities for automated data pulls into district platforms. All district-created items and assessment data must remain the property of the District with clear data ownership provisions. Pricing must include bulk pricing for current customer products and multi-year discounts, with line-item costs delineated for customer support, professional learning, and in-person training expenses specifying the number of teachers included per service type. Any items in development must include guaranteed timelines for production release.
