Questions Answers 1 Bid Schedule, A7-A8, Schedule A, Schedule Type: Base show:
Pay Item #30202-2000 (Fill with Roadway Aggregate, method 2 at 2,750 tons) as well as Pay Item #62402-0300 (Furnish and Placing Topsoil, 4-inch depth at 6.7 acres).
Was this pay item inadvertently doubled-up on the 4-foot shoulder areas (both sides of the road), or is it FHWA's intention to shoulder-fill both materials? To help with our question, we're specifically looking at Typical Section, sheet no. A7, Detail A, B.
If both are required, please clarify the following material(s) needed:
Is this FP-14 Section 313 - Aggregate-Topsoil Course; 313.01- 313.02?
a. Aggregate for aggregate-topsoil course 703.13
b. Seed 713.04
c. Topsoil 713.01
d. Water 725.01 ( c )
Is this FP-14 Section 713 - Roadside Improvement Material Topsoil; 713.01?
Is this FP-14 Section 703 - Aggregate; 703-2?
The limits of turf establishment and topsoil are outside of the shoulder up material (roadway aggregate, method 2). Turf and topsoil are not required over the shoulder up material (roadway aggregate, method 2).
