30. Question: What is the expected timeline for security clearance processing for new hires, and are there any recent delays or additional requirements for badging?
FAA Response:
The onboarding timelines vary based on the contractor employee’s responsiveness to the investigative requirements. The onus is on the contractor, as Personnel Security (AXP) must provide the subject with a designated government time standard to complete the investigative steps, i.e., 15 days to complete the initial invite steps. However, if the subject responds sooner with acceptable information, then the PSS may proceed to the next investigation step. On average, the process could take between 30-45 days. Real ID is also a new requirement.

FAA Response:
MSN and JVL facilities have asbestos and lead paint.
36. Question: What are the government’s expectations for response time and communication in the event of a service disruption (e.g., weather, staffing shortage, emergency)?
FAA Response:

Yes, monthly still needs to be done at OSH. Window clean, etc just prior to EAA.
