Questions and Response Set #2 TMB ATCT Rehabilitation

Q1. As per spec 01 40 00, section 3.3. are we required to hire an independent QC organization?

R1. No an independent QC organization is not required

Q2. Can the superintendent performs the duties of the QCM?

R2. A superintendent may serve as QC manager; however, they may not serve the role of Project Manager, Superintendent and QC manager. If the superintendent becomes the QC manager, they assume all responsibilities of the QC manager as well.

Q3. Spec 017419 section 1.7. are we required to employ at LEED coordinator for this project?

R3. No, a LEED certified coordinator is not required as long as all requirements of the specification section are met and in compliance with local code, whichever is more stringent.

Q4. Do you have any photos of the roof that you can provide?

R4. Please see document entitled, “RFI Set 2 Photos”. Please note these photos are from four years ago and may not represent the most current condition.
