About this file

This is a Question and Answer (Q&A) document for federal contract 6973GH-26-R-00218, addressing clarifications regarding an inventory audit requirement at an FAA facility in Oklahoma City.

The audit involves counting and electronically accounting for aircraft parts and components stored across multiple locations including parts cages within aircraft hangars, warehouse shelves, exterior sheds, and aircraft ramps. All contract auditors must meet the requirements outlined in Section 8 of the Statement of Work; there is no maximum limit on the number of contract employees needed. The audit will occur during normal working hours with potential overlap of FAA and contractor personnel. Parts range significantly in size from small screws to items measuring 6'x6'x30', and no SKUs are assigned to parts. The contractor must provide their own tablet devices for electronic data collection rather than physically tagging items. The FAA will provide safety equipment for accessing elevated items, inventory reports for reconciliation, applicable records, and resources to resolve found or untagged inventory discrepancies. Sample inventory report formats showing part number, description, and location will be provided by the FAA. A pre-award facility tour is not available due to logistics constraints. The contractor will not have a complete inventory freeze during the audit, though efforts will be made to accommodate counting activities. Carts and tables will be provided if needed for counting purposes.
