SUBJECT: Response to Site Visit Questions: Request for Proposal - 6973GH-25-R-00195 Paint Interior/Exterior Walls ARTCC Facility, Anchorage Alaska

The purpose of this memorandum is to formally document the government’s response to all questions received resultant to the ZAN site visit on 15 Jul 2025.

1. Can you supply a sign in sheet from the site visit? I do not supply the sign in sheet to competing bidders

2. During the site visit you took us into an open office area that is outside of the blue line area provided on the prints.

I. Are all open office spaces to be included or just the one that you showed us during the walk through? Just the area described in the summary of work This includes the common areas, i.e., corridors, conference rooms, break rooms. This work will include Technical /Operations wing bldg. 400, ops Support wing bldg. 400. Administrative Wing bldg. 400.

3. The original scope calls out common areas – corridors, conference rooms and break rooms. If the areas of inclusion for the bid have changed, can you please supply an updated set of prints that reflect the scope of work ? The limits have not changed please refer to the summary of work and site plan.

4. Are all doors and frames that are within the SOW as identified by blue line on prints, to be painted both sides ? (some of these doors and frames will require access to areas that are not included in our SOW) The (SOW) The doors are scheduled to be painted on both sides, the summary (scope: Patch, repair and re-paint interior walls, doors and frames. The doors that need to be opened to be painted will be a coordination with the facility and (COR).

5. Surface Preparation – Will any additional surface preparation beyond standard sanding and priming be required? Specifically, is there any anticipated need for lead paint removal, mold treatment, caulking, or similar remediation? Please refer to specification division 09 91 00 for more details in preparation. No lead paint or remediation is required for this scope of work.

6. Performance and Payment Bonds – We noticed a discrepancy regarding bond requirements. Page 1 of the Solicitation Form (Point 10) indicates that performance and payment bonds are required, while Section 12A appears to state otherwise with "No" selected. Could you please confirm whether bonds are required for this project? This was a clerical error. The anticipated dollar value meets the statutory requirement for bonds.

The solicitation has been amended accordingly to correct the oversight. Payment and Performance Bonds will be required within 10 days of contract award.

These are the only questions received. No further questions will be answered in the preproposal phase of this effort.

As a reminder, please pay special attention to the Instructions for Preparation and Submission (Section L) and Evaluation Criteria (Section M) and respond accordingly, ensuring that past performance surveys are submitted to the Contracting Officer.

Please direct questions or concerns to the undersigned at Raymond.a.lena@faa.gov.
