Proposals due: Changed from 7 July 2022 at 1400 PDT to 12 July 2022 at 1400 PDT.

Question/Answers that were due 22 June 2022, all questions that were received are shown below along with responses. With additional information added as shown below bolded under Question 3.

1) When the work hours be on this project, normal working hours or after?

Answer: (11pm – 4am for Operations Rooms & Normal operations hours on weekends for office areas)

2) Will furniture be allowed to be moved into the hallways?

Answer: (Yes, as long as there is availability for walk- ways)

3) Will government empty all furniture for movement, and move any personal items and electronics?

Answer: (Yes, personal items and computers will be moved but contractor must provide however many boxes are needed to for employees to store their work and personal items in)

Additional Question: Do you have an approximate employee count for the project area? Need that information to estimate how many boxes we need to provide.

Answer: (There are 15 employees each with full desks and full cabinets. Managers offices are full of book shelves and countertops. There is an office file room, and

There is also a storage room. I would suggest that there are also carts made available to move the large amount of boxes in and out of the rooms.

I don’t know how to calculate the amount of boxes needed but I would figure somewhere in the range of 10-15 boxes per employee.)

4) Can we park a truck on site with our product and tools?

Answer: (Yes, but contractor is responsible for locking and loss of any tools)

5) Can we leave demo open for a day before we carpet and rubber base? Can we demo the carpet and cove base and leave bare floor during the day before we come back the following night to lay the new carpet and cove base?

Answer: (So in the operational rooms, because they are noise sensitive, what we tear out needs to be reinstalled daily. As for the office rooms, it is fine if the floors stay bare for a day. When the job is going on, we can also attack it on a room by room basis as necessary)

6) Will there be a spot for a dumpster?

Answer: (Yes, their dumpster may not be used for construction)
