Answer: There are no known hazardous materials in this facility.
6. Question: Section B of the RFP indicates the period of performance to be 30 days after NTP. Due to the current supply chain issues, the construction industry is experiencing very long lead times on materials. Manufactures are not holding their prices or committing to any schedules until the products are approved and released for production. Can the NTP be issued after the approved submittal process and delivery of materials?
Answer: NTP will be issued after the approval of all submittals, and the contractor has all materials on hand.
7. Question: Will the Government allow the contractor to use the FAR Clause 52.216-4 (Economic

Answer: No quiet hours required as long as it is just general demo and construction, M-F 7:00am-4pm, Open to discussion about weekends if needed

Answer: Not sure if there is a clear question here that I am following, but if you are asking if the door has to be ADA, then yes. As for if it needs to be a specific door and hardware, if that is what you are asking, I have no information showing any detailed information as to what exact door and hardware is to be used and contractor should use whatever materials are needed to make door safe and functional under ADA requirements
18. Question: Are there isolation valves for water in bathroom or all angle-stop valves fully functional?
Answer: I do not have this information on isolation valves, but any valves inside restroom facility, should be changed out with new ones

ADA? Per SOW, bringing tile up to 48” elevation on walls may impact placement of ADA-compliant electrical outlets (48” to center from floor). Please confirm whether outlets should be placed lower/higher.

If this requires relocation, then it should be included in work performed

Answer: I again, do not have the answers to this question as I do not work for the facility, but seeing as we are changing out the lights and fans with new lower draw units, I would imagine that the current breakers are sufficient. However, this should be verified before work is performed, and it they need to be updated with new larger breakers, then this should be included in work
21. Question: Does the existing drain have a trap primer? If not, will one be needed to be installed?
Answer: I have no information on this, but if there is not one, one should be installed to eliminate any evaporation issues with floor drain that would lead to gases and smells occurring

Answer: ANY & ALL Covid 19 mandates and protocols are to be complied with. This also means that during the duration of work, the risk level may change due to city/state or federal orders and the protocol could change. If this happens ANY & ALL protocols will and shall be followed at all times. POC for facility will keep you posted on any changes a requirement as work proceeds

Answer: The interior doorway and walls are being eliminated, so there will only be one door (hallway entry door to bathroom). It swings inward and to the left. The diagramed designed picture of the new bathroom layout shows there is only one door and which way it swings. The diagram is in the Questions and Answers posted in Attachment.
