About this file

This modification amends a solicitation for a Hurco VMX42SRTi 5-Axis Computer Numerical Control (CNC) milling machine. The Engineering Sciences branch of the Federal Aviation Administration requires the milling machine to allow rapid fabrication and modification of parts for crash testing. The amendment removes a clause implementing COVID-19 safety protocols for federal contractors and extends the proposal due date to January 14, 2022. Offerors must submit proposals to John J. Juarez at the specified email address by the amended deadline. Proposals must match the firm's registered DUNS and SAM information. Evaluation will consider impact, specialized experience with 5-axis CNC machines, and proprietary rights.
