Operational Requirements

There will be two codecs connected to separate networks – internal secure network (IP) and external unsecure network (PRI).

The codecs will share resources such as speakers, displays, microphones, etc. and will be operated via the Touch Screen controller. When a codec is selected on one of the networks all inputs and outputs of the codec will be routed to the common shared devices and the other codec will turn off. Video teleconferencing can be displayed on either the LEDs or projector.

The computers will be assigned one to each network for use in video teleconferencing. The laptop will be used for in-house presentations on either the LEDs or projector.

The Touch Screen control system must have audit capabilities that tract and store user’s actions. Additionally, it must support multiple user logins with individual passwords. Logs must be generated and saved over the life of the product and retrievable at any time.

A visual message with the level of classification for the conference must be displayed on either the LED or projector by means of a message generator.

The DVD will be used for local presentations on either the LEDs or projector. There will be no connections made to the DVD that will allow recording.

A full duplex echo cancellation audio system will be provided with appropriate number of ceiling microphones for size of room.
