Amendment No. 8 to
Solicitation 693JK424R500002 - DOT Headquarters Cafeteria Food Services
1. This Amendment No. 8 invites only interested firms that are within the purview and protection of the Randolph-Sheppard Act, and that have not previously submitted a proposal to DOT in response the subject Solicitation, to attend a walk-through / site-visit at the DOT Headquarters building located at 1200 New Jersey Avenue, S.E., Washington, D.C. 20590, from 12 noon to 2:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time on March 28, 2024.
2. Each such interested company shall e-mail, to Angel.Ellis@dot.gov and to Jane.Tamai@dot.gov and to James.Mowery@dot.gov, by 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time March 26, 2024, its walk-through / site-visit participants’ names, their company-name, and their phone numbers. Each interested company’s walk-through-participants shall report to the 4th Street lobby of DOT’s Headquarters Building not later than 11:45 AM Eastern Daylight Time on March 28, 2024, and each such participant shall have available, for presentation to DOT Guards and to cognizant DOT employees, at least one currently-valid government-issued-and-photograph-bearing I.D., with the first preference being a driver’s license issued by an American state or by the District of Columbia, and with the second preference being a U . S. Passport. The actual walkthrough will begin at approximately 12 Noon Eastern Daylight Time on March 28, 2024, with the interested companies’ participants being escorted, by DOT employees, through the areas of the DOT Headquarters which are relevant to the performance of the food-service-project envisioned in the subject Solicitation.
3. This Amendment No. 8 also extends, to 11:30 PM EDT April 17, 2024, the deadline for only interested Randolph-Sheppard-protected firms to submit proposals to james.mowery@dot.gov and to Angel.Ellis@dot.gov and to Jane.Tamai@dot.gov in response to the subject Solicitation.
4. This Amendment No. 8 also extends, to 11:30 PM EDT April 17, 2024, the deadline for submission of a revised proposal to DOT by any firm that had submitted a proposal to DOT by this Solicitation’s previously-established January 29th, 2024 proposal-submission-deadline, regardless of whether that firm falls within the purview and protection of the Randolph Sheppard Act.
5. This Amendment No. 8 does not allow any site-visit (or any further site-visit) by any firm that does not fall within the purview and protection of the Randolph-Sheppard Act.
6. This Amendment No. 8 does not allow the submission of any proposal by any non-Randolph-Sheppard-protected firm which did not submit a proposal to DOT by this Solicitation’s previously-specified proposal-submission-deadline of 11:30 PM Eastern Standard Time January 29th, 2024.
This Amendment No. 8 makes no further changes to the subject Solicitation.
