About this file
This document contains a request for quotation for a custom mobile concrete laboratory trailer for the Federal Highway Administration. The RFQ seeks a firm fixed price contract to manufacture, supply, deliver, and provide warranty for a trailer per the attached specifications, clauses, and provisions. Questions and answers are provided addressing the anticipated delivery schedule, delivery address, and weight requirements. Amendment 0003 is forthcoming to revise the delivery schedule, as the trailer will be picked up by FHWA at the manufacturer's facility rather than delivered. The weights listed in the specifications are approximations to meet legal limits and no special permits will be required for transportation on public highways in the US.
