About this file
This document provides details on a federal contract opportunity for landslide repair work in Puerto Rico. The Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division of the Federal Highway Administration is seeking proposals for a design-build project to repair 46 landslides, pavement washouts, and conduct other miscellaneous work along various highways in Utuado municipality damaged by Hurricanes Irma and Maria. The work includes design and construction of earth retaining structures, drainage structures, pavement rehabilitation and reconstruction, temporary traffic control, and other miscellaneous tasks. The project budget is estimated between $20-30 million and will be split into multiple work schedules or contract options. A two-phase selection process will be used, beginning with a Request for Qualifications with statements due on July 21, 2022, to shortlist firms for the second phase Request for Proposal.
