About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract 6923G526Q0028 A00001 regarding on-site hearing and respirator fit testing services for the Government.
The contract requires a contractor to provide occupational hearing (audiometric) testing and respirator fit testing for approximately 65-85 employees at a GLS facility in Massena, New York. Testing must be conducted over two consecutive days (Tuesday and Wednesday) between 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., with all testing completed within 30 calendar days of contract award. All employees will receive qualitative respirator fit testing, with approximately 10 anticipated to require quantitative fit testing following initial failure. Testing will cover three respirator types: 3M N95, 3M 7700 half-face, and 3M 7800 full-face, with three employees also requiring PAPU testing. The contractor must deploy a mobile clinical unit on-site (not utilize facility space), requiring either 220V/50A single-phase power or two separate 110V/20A circuits positioned within 35 feet of power, and a minimum 30-foot by 12-foot flat parking area. Pricing shall be firm fixed price per employee and all-inclusive, with compensation based on actual employees serviced rather than estimated quantities. The contractor is responsible for facilitating valid medical clearances per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134, providing audiometric testing booths or boothless technology, and reporting results only (not coordinating follow-up services). GLS will provide a roster, on-site coordinator, and designated room for employee paperwork. This is a one-time service with no option years or follow-on requirements anticipated.
