About this file

The document is an attachment detailing the requirements for the removal and replacement of old athletic lockers with custom-built new lockers at the United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) in Kings Point, New York. The requirements specify the desired locker dimensions, materials, accessories, and installation responsibilities. The related federal contract opportunity, Solicitation Number 6923G224B000001, is for the Tombs Field Locker Rooms Renovation project. This is a total small business set-aside, with the NAICS code 238990 and a small business size standard of $16.5 million. The solicitation is being issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB), and a firm, fixed-price contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror with the lowest price, technically acceptable quote. A site visit is scheduled, and the Miller Act applies, requiring payment and performance bonds. The work must be completed within a specified timeframe, and late deliverables, if any, will be provided at no cost to the government.
