About this file

This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) amendment to a federal solicitation addressing clarifications on project requirements and specifications.

Solicitation No. 6913G626Q300051 / Amendment 00002 addresses four key questions from potential contractors. The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements, with the Wage Determination document for Delaware provided in the solicitation package. Contractors should base pricing estimates on 20 feet for borings and wells, as this estimate is appropriate based on previous investigations at adjacent operable units. Regarding materials, five drums for soil cuttings and development water has been deemed acceptable for the initial contract; however, the U.S. DOT Volpe Center will acquire additional drums through a separate purchase if needed. Well covers must be stick-up style as specified in Section 3.4 of the Statement of Work, not flush mount. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged.
