About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a federal construction contract opportunity (Project No. WY NP GRTE 13(1)) regarding repair work on North Park Road at Milepost 15.8 in Grand Teton National Park.

The Q&A addresses five technical questions posed by potential bidders, with responses dated between April 7, 2026 and April 15, 2026. Key clarifications include: site access is available via US 26 despite seasonal closures on US 89 between Yellowstone and Grand Tetons; work will be scheduled to limit impacts during peak travel hours, with details to be provided in Amendment A001; temporary steel traffic barriers are a subsidiary contractor obligation with no separate pay item; flaggers may be used to supplement lump-sum temporary traffic signals as bid; and the National Park Service has reserved three campground sites at Flagg Ranch for contractor use, also to be addressed in Amendment A001. The responses reference relevant specification sections (156.07, 635.12, 635) and federal procurement standards (FP-24 109.05(b)), indicating this project involves traffic control management and temporary construction accommodations in a national park setting.
