5 X

It appears there is a typo in Section 52.211‐10

“The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this contract within 10 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than 10/31/2025 subject to such extensions as may be authorized. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises. The completion date is based on the assumption that the successful offeror will receive the notice to proceed by 10/28/2025. “

Is the NTP meant to be 10/28/2024?

Yes. This will be addressed under

Amendment A001.

My company recently became a registered entity and I am currently set to “Pending” on approval for a data entry role, and we cannot see interested bidders. Would you be able to provide any guidance or help point us in the right direction on how to obtain access to interested bidders?

SCR 703.05A (f) States 70 percent minimum fractured faces. Does this include more than a single fractured face on the aggregate or just a single fractured face?

8 X

Insteand of using a motor grader as specified under SCR 311.06 for spreading material, would a Box Aggregate Spreader such as a DOMOR

9 X

Why is there is no bid item for “Traffic Control

Supervisor.” Was that omitted in error or is it incidental to the project? It may benefit to all parties involved to include that bid item.

The Government chose not to have a pay item for this. Please submit bids according to the solicitation documents.

10 X

SCR 303.07(b) refers one to Subsection 303.06, which says “Repair soft and unstable areas to the full aggregate surface depth according to

Subsection 204.07”, and Subsection 204.07 says

“Excavate material to the required limits.

Dispose of unsuitable material according to

Subsection 204.14... Place backfill material...

etc." Does this work get paid for under the

“A0200 Unclassified Excavation” and “A0220

Unclassified Borrow” items for is it all incidental to the Type 2 Roadway Reconditioning? If it is all incidental can the government at least give us an estimate on the quantity of soft areas to be removed and replaced? Without that quantity it seems like an unreasonable risk to place on the contractor if the soft areas are not quantified. There will be material and hauling costs that are not quantifiable. In such a remote area we will need to know how much borrow material to generate and haul to put together an accurate estimate.

The Government does not intend to provide additional information on this. See

Subsection 109.05 for how the

Government will pay for work, and please submit bids according to the solicitation documents, which includes the bid schedule.
