About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding a federal contract solicitation for road repair work. The solicitation is for WA FS ERFO 2017(1)-23(3), Okanogan-Wenatchee 2017 Repairs, Phase 3 with the Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration. The work consists of installing culverts and aquatic organism pipes, rebuilding damaged road slopes, rehabilitating roadways, reconstructing ditches and placing aggregate and chip seal surfacing along 1.942 miles of roadway. The estimated price range for the contract is between $1 million to $2 million. The tentative fixed completion date once the solicitation is issued is Fall 2020. The questions and answers provide clarification that some excavated material from the sites may be suitable for use as fill material on other sites, and that excavation work shown on one typical section is considered incidental to the roadway reconditioning work.
