7 x My bonding agency wants to know if they're bonding me for the construction cost of the project (A portion of the bid) or the total bid amount that includes administrative cost (B portion of the bid)?
If the latter, who is to compensate the $2000 a day administrative cost if I am required to have bonding coverage on that portion?
Per SCR 102.05A, The successful bidder will be awarded all pay items listed in Part A (Construction Price) of the bid schedule. Your bid bond needs to cover Part A only.
