b. The affected rooms will be vacated during construction. Adjacent areas will remain occupied. The existing HVAC will remain in operation during construction. Cap open ends of operational duct and pipe upon completion of demolition. Close balance dampers to and install filter fabric over existing to remain return air registers in affected areas. GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: Bid per RFP. The period of performance remains unchanged at 380 calendar days after award.
8. Please confirm the type of existing floor assembly; are there post-tensioned cables to be x-rayed before core drilling?
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: Areas to be core drilled must be x-rayed prior to avoid conflict with any items to include post-tensioned cables/utilities.

13. The Bid Specification (27 41 00 2.2.1.b.) identifies a “government laptop computer” which may be plugged into the HDMI at the table. The Bid Spec (27 41 00 2.2.1.c. and e.) also mentions a “government-provided computer” which will receive a feed from a wireless keyboard and mouse, and a USB camera. Are these two computers the same device, or will there be two possible computers?
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: The spec language is referring to only one computer. One computer will connect to the AV system at a time.
14. The Bid Specs (27 41 00 2.2.1.e.) identify a USB camera which will feed the government computer. However, this camera and connectivity are not depicted in the system drawings. Is this an oversight in the drawings? Or, is the camera connection an actual requirement
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: 27 41 00 2.2.1.e regarding a USB camera has been removed from the specification and this change will be reflected in a revised 27 41 00. Note on the I-series drawings, item A2 (mobile TV stand) has a camera.

The connectivity for this panel does not appear to be depicted in the drawings, either. Please, confirm if this scheduling panel is required. If the panel is required, is there a basis of design for the panel?

A mobile TV stand with camera (item A2) is shown in the I-series drawings that will connect to the building infrastructure (receptacles, data drops, etc). These mobile units should have the ability for a government laptop to connect to it using an HDMI cord.
