About this file

This is a vendor onboarding notice from Marion County, Florida, regarding their use of PaymentWorks, a secure vendor portal system for vendor registration and payment management. The notice informs vendors that they may receive invitation emails from PaymentWorks on behalf of Marion County to complete vendor onboarding. The document is associated with Marion County Solid Waste's bid opportunity 26B-098 for waste tire transportation and disposal services at the Marion County Solid Waste Baseline Landfill. The contract seeks to award services for handling various tire types from residential and commercial sources, including passenger, truck, offroad, and equipment tires, with a contract term of 2 years plus three annual renewal options. Marion County intends to award the contract to a minimum of two vendors.

During PaymentWorks registration, vendors must provide and manage business and banking information while selecting their preferred payment method—either ACH direct deposit or check payments. Existing vendors who have previously conducted business with Marion County are not required to register unless they need to update company information such as address, email, or banking details; delays in registration or updates may result in payment delays. Vendors requiring assistance with PaymentWorks registration can contact PaymentWorks Support through their help portal or Marion County Procurement at Procurement@MarionFL.org. Registration through PaymentWorks is strongly encouraged to ensure timely payment processing for awarded contracts.
