About this file

This is an insurance requirements document for Broward County's Parks and Recreation Division regarding the purchase and delivery of grills. The document specifies that no proof of insurance is required if delivery will be made by common carrier, but outlines comprehensive insurance coverage requirements for contractors who will provide delivery services beyond common carrier methods.

The insurance requirements include General Liability coverage with minimum limits of $500,000 per occurrence and aggregate for combined bodily injury and property damage, Auto Liability coverage of $500,000 for combined bodily injury and property damage (waivable if no driving is required), Worker's Compensation at statutory limits, and Employer's Liability at $100,000 per accident. Additional coverage types are specified as not applicable (N/A) including Professional Liability for engineering and design professionals, and Pollution/Environmental Liability. The document requires Broward County to be named as additional insured, mandates that the contractor's insurance provide primary coverage without requiring contribution from the County, includes waiver of subrogation in favor of Broward County, and stipulates that Claims-Made policies must be maintained with evidence provided for at least three years after contract completion.
