About this file
This is a Non-Conflict of Interest certification document required by the Colorado Department of Corrections as part of the bid submission process for Boiler Chemicals & Treatment Services. The document serves as a mandatory attestation that bidders must complete and return with their proposals. Signatories confirm they have reviewed Colorado Revised Statutes sections 18-8-302, 18-8-306, 18-8-301, and 18-8-308, as amended, and affirm compliance with the State of Colorado State Controller Policy on Procurement Conflicts of Interest. The certification requires bidders to declare that they have no actual, potential, perceived, or apparent conflicts of interest related to the procurement process.
The document establishes that bidders understand their obligations regarding access to State information and records, which are under the custodianship of the CDOC Procurement Official and cannot be distributed, sold, or shared with third parties except as expressly authorized. Signatories acknowledge that the Procurement Official has authority to remove them from the process as deemed appropriate and that bidders may request removal at any time, subject to the Procurement Official's discretion. Bidders must commit to immediately notifying the Procurement Agent if any situation arises that could alter their representations or create an appearance of conflict or impropriety. The certification applies to employees of private employers and independent contractors under contract with the State of Colorado and must be signed by an authorized representative, with the company name or dba clearly printed on the document.
