About this file

This is a Change Order Notice issued by the Chief Procurement Office for General Services involving the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and the Illinois Public Health Association (IPHA) regarding Contract No. 38700007K. The original contract, executed on May 24, 2023, with an end date of May 23, 2026, involved third-party billing services including billing and coding, revenue cycle management, and technical support for Electronic Medical Records (EMRs). The contract term remains unchanged under this amendment.

Due to federal funding reductions, IDPH is removing all deliverables associated with the subcontractor, CDP, Inc., from the agreement. This change eliminates IPHA and CDP, Inc.'s responsibilities for creating or updating electronic medical records used for insurance reimbursement, managing billing and coding processes, and providing revenue cycle support. The amendment results in a $100,000 reduction in total contract value. All other terms and conditions of the original contract remain in full effect.

thedetails: The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) is submitting a change order to amend Contract No. 38700007K, originally executed with the Illinois Public Health Association (IPHA). This contract, which began on May 24, 2023, and is set to end on May 23, 2026, will retain its original term dates. However, due to federal funding reductions, IDPH is required to scale back certain services previously funded under this agreement.

The impacted services fall under the Third Party Billing program, which includes critical functions such as billing and coding, revenue cycle management, and technical support for Electronic Medical Records (EMRs). These services were not directly performed by IPHA, but rather by their subcontractor, CDP, Inc.

As a result of the funding cuts, IDPH is removing all deliverables associated with CDP, Inc. from the contract. This change will result in a $100,000 reduction in the total contract value.

These changes mean that IPHA and its subcontractor, CDP, Inc., will no longer be responsible for creating or updating electronic medical records (EMRs) used for insurance reimbursement, managing billing and coding processes, or providing support for revenue cycle operations.

All other terms and conditions of Contract 38700007K remain unchanged and in full effect.
