About this file

This is an Attachment B - Proposal Introduction and Solution Approach document for RFP 541355 issued by the City of Detroit Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP) on behalf of the Construction and Demolition Department. The RFP requests proposals from qualified respondents to provide Vactor drainage cleaning services at various facilities throughout the City of Detroit for a three-year contract term. The document outlines the required components of respondent proposals, including a proposal introduction, solution and approach narrative, project timeline with completion dates, and technical approach describing procedures and fees.

Respondents must confirm in their proposals that submissions will remain firm for one hundred twenty (120) days from the due date and thereafter until withdrawal, contract execution, or procurement termination by the City, whichever occurs first. Proposals must include a statement confirming response to the RFP, a brief company description, commitment to perform work per RFP requirements, and evidence of required licenses or registrations for providing the services. The technical approach section should present procedures in a format that enables the City to evaluate the respondent's ability to identify, evaluate, and communicate while delivering the requested services.
