About this file
This document is a signed set of guidelines for non-employees with limited access to students issued by the Cherokee County School District (CCSD) Procurement Services Department in Georgia. The guidelines establish behavioral and operational requirements for vendors and other non-school employees conducting business within CCSD facilities. Non-employees are restricted to designated areas necessary for their specific responsibilities and may only have contact with students as authorized by school administration. Non-employees are permitted on school premises only during regular school hours or at times prearranged with administration and must not solicit student participation or assistance in performing their duties. Additionally, non-employees must be accompanied by a school employee when accessing areas where children are present during the school day.
The guidelines further require that non-employees maintain professional conduct in both actions and speech while on school premises, with explicit prohibitions against smoking and the use of offensive or inappropriate language. Non-employees are instructed to report student actions or behavior to administration rather than respond directly. These guidelines apply to the School Nutrition Dishwasher Replacement project at Macedonia Elementary School, a one-time procurement for commercial dishwasher replacement and installation services. The document requires proposers to acknowledge their understanding and acceptance of these guidelines by providing company name, signature, date, printed name, and title before submission of their proposals.
