About this file
Summary of Exhibit E: Special Restrictions for Work in the Correctional Facility
This document is an exhibit detailing special restrictions and requirements for contractors performing work within a correctional facility under a County of Bucks procurement. The exhibit establishes mandatory conditions and protocols that all bidders and contractors must comply with when conducting work at the correctional facility. The restrictions cover security procedures, inmate safety protocols, and operational requirements specific to the correctional environment. All contractors are required to acknowledge understanding and acceptance of these special restrictions as a condition of bid submission and contract award. The document serves as a binding exhibit to the main contract solicitation and supersedes any conflicting provisions in other contract documents.
The special restrictions include detailed security clearance requirements, background check procedures, and rules governing contractor conduct within the facility. Contractors must comply with all correctional facility security protocols, including restrictions on communication with inmates, prohibited items, and designated work areas. The restrictions also address insurance requirements, liability provisions, and the county's right to deny facility access or terminate work based on contractor non-compliance. These restrictions apply to all contractor personnel, subcontractors, and vendors entering the correctional facility, and failure to adhere to any provision may result in immediate removal from the facility and contract termination.
